Requirements

Qualifications for CDL Role:

  • Clean CDL driving and work safety record
  • Warehouse and truck mounted forklift experience
  • At least 2+ years Class A or B experience
  • Class A or B and HAZMAT endorsement is required
  • Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking in of material
  • Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders
  • Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse
  • Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
  • Frequent standing, walking, crouching
  • Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 80 pounds
  • Adhering to all DOT and company safety protocols
  • Performing daily vehicle inspections and maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles
  • Completing all necessary paperwork, logbooks, pick tickets, etc.
  • Notifying Manager or Branch Manager of potentially dangerous job sites

Qualifications for Warehouse Role:

  • Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record (for drivers)
  • HAZMAT certified
  • Forklift certified
  • Prior experience in building materials a plus
  • Must be detail and customer service oriented
  • OSHA 10

Qualifications for Inside Sales Role: 

  • Must have a can do, customer service first attitude
  • Basic math skills
  • A good memory to be able retain a working technical knowledge on vast amounts of building materials
  • Prior experience with building materials is a plus
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Commitment to the Company’s mission and it’s core values
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications for Office Administrator: 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in receiving or billing function preferred
  • Highly motivated self-starter that is capable of multi-tasking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to work in fast paced environment

Description

  • Local/ Tri-State Area Deliveries
  • Limited to No Overnight Deliveries

Main Job Tasks and Requirements for Warehouse Role:

  • Compliance to OSHA roof work regulations
  • Clean Driving Record and DOT Medical Card if Driving Commercial Vehicle
  • Partner with a delivery driver and assist in loading and unloading the delivery truck
  • Deliver materials to customers work site, including the roof top
  • Must be comfortable working at high heights
  • Repetitive lifting and moving of material up to 80 lbs

Main Job Tasks and Requirements for Inside Sales Role:

  • Preparing quotes for potential customers
  • Preparing computer generated work orders for customers
  • Handle and process customer returns
  • Work closely with Branch Manager
  • Develop and maintain a working technical knowledge of products sold
  • Coordinate customer delivery requirements with the dispatcher
  • Occasional purchasing of inventory
  • Maintain material stock in showroom

Main Job Tasks and Requirements for Office Administrator: 

Invoicing:

  • Sort and match sales paperwork
  • Confirm and adjust invoices in preparation for billing in coordination with branch manager and sales team
  • Review work for accuracy
  • Prepare credit memos assuring proper paperwork
  • File sales paperwork in accordance with Company procedures
  • Provide copies of invoices or statements to customers on an as needed basis

Receiving:

  • File purchase orders
  • Match packing list to purchase orders when received
  • Receive inventory into accounting system
  • Work with managers and A/P clerk on inventory corrections

Banking:

  • Prepare cash drawer reconciliations
  • Prepare daily cash deposit
  • Prepare daily AR deposit and send backup to AR department
  • Prepare bank deposits daily

Branch Manager Assistance:

  • Answer a high volume of phone calls and direct to appropriate parties
  • Receive products via UPS, FED-EX and other deliveries
  • Mail sorting
  • Review and forward faxes as directed
  • Monitor warehouse management system orders and processes
  • Troubleshoot errors between Warehouse Management System and ERP systems
  • Assist branch manager and credit manager with various special assignments
  • Organize ordering of lunch for sales team and for special events / meetings
